Graphic design of the online store and brand rebranding

We have redesigned the online store Dlabiura24 so that the process of choosing a product and buying it is as simple as possible. The changes that have taken place in the store, also reflect the new logo.

What task did we have?

Our task during cooperation with the Dlabiura24 brand was to create a useful graphic design of the new version of the online store. Three entities were involved in the process, which gave the opportunity to use the experience and knowledge of several dozen people with complementary competencies in order to build software tailored to the needs of users.

Marketing Agency Delante after the conclusions of the UX audit, she created guidelines for the graphic design of the store, which was to be implemented on the company's engine ExtremeLab.

What was the goal?

The aim of the modernization of the online store was to increase the business benefits of running it in the long term. The project was supposed to affect a noticeable increase in conversions, aesthetics, the amount of abandoned carts, usability and the amount of time spent on the site.

The online store was designed to facilitate the purchasing process of customers from the target group of the company in a modern, professional and intuitive way. Together with our partners, we have combined competence and experience to take care of every detail and add value.

An additional goal was to create an option for the presentation of special company stands. These are sites dedicated to specific manufacturers and distributors, which gives the end customer the opportunity to shop in the “shop in shop” system.

Target group

The target group of the company is divided into two segments. The range of products offered was tailored to the needs of the B2C and B2B sectors, which required adequate communication on all advertising materials and in the online store. The Dlabiura24 brand supplies all kinds of stationery, electronic and, as the name implies, office supplies.

The products are acquired by companies in the SME sector that open new offices or modernize existing headquarters in terms of equipment. A large part of the target group is also made up of entities that supplement the materials used on an ongoing basis, such as envelopes, printing paper, writing articles and even detergents and food for employees. The offer is constantly being developed to meet the needs of this group in an even better way, which the project had to take into account.

The second segment of the target audience is students, students and their parents, who equip themselves with the necessary study materials before the start of the school year. This allows them to save time by buying everything in one place without leaving home at an attractive price.

Briefly about the implementation

The implementation began with discussions about design goals, user needs and data analysis, on the basis of which assumptions and guidelines from the marketing agency delante were created. Joining forces has become a way to achieve the best possible results from a business point of view.

The Dlabiura24 brand took care of the complementarity of the offer, which made it possible for the consumer to comprehensively equip an office or workplace at home using a single online store.

We focused on simplifying the site as much as possible and increasing usability with end users in mind. It turned out that in order to equip a specific workplace, they have clear goals that need to be helped to achieve.

Searching for individual products in this case, completing the basket and remembering each particular one can prove to be cumbersome. Hence the decision taken together with the partner companies to implement a simple, readable menu. The new structure took into account the needs of the customer, which consisted in equipping a given room or achieving a given effect in it.

Keeping in mind the characterized goals, boxes were arranged with inspirations and distribution of the assortment depending on the purpose. Thanks to this, the customer now does not have to interpret on his own what the product category will best serve him for. The current product breakdown has been developed in such a way that you already know it while navigating the site.

The Dlabiura24 store sells the products of its partners also in the “shop in shop” system by creating separate sub-pages dedicated to brands called the Brand Zone. An example of such a Brand Zone is the website of Durable — a manufacturer of high quality office and training accessories.

The implementation of the new online store was also an opportunity to present a refreshed logo. The sign symbolizing evolution suggests constant improvement and development of the offer. The shopping cart characteristic of the brand is now simple and easy to read. Typography is dynamic and modern.

A complementary element in the design process of the new store was the creation of a series of banners for the main page of the store. The banners of the online store should be legible and transparent so that the user, at a quick glance, is able to assess what the information presented on such a store banner (slider) refers to.

Effect

The goal was achieved by allowing the implementation of a new version of the online store, adapted to the needs of users from the target group. A clear list and product card allows you to quickly and conveniently place an order in a way convenient for the consumer.

Intuitive, useful and in line with the latest trends graphic design allowed to combine aesthetics with functionality at the highest level.
